Meowdio support
Meowdio plays the audiobooks you own and the podcasts you follow, and keeps everything in your own iCloud. No account, no servers.

Common questions
How do I add an audiobook?
Tap the plus button and choose files or a folder from Files, AirDrop an .m4b or .mp3 to your iPhone and choose Meowdio, or on a Mac drop files into iCloud Drive ▸ Meowdio ▸ Add to Meowdio. A folder of tracks becomes one book with a chapter per file. Meowdio reads the title, author, narrator, cover and chapters from the file.
Where are my files stored?
In your own iCloud Drive, under Meowdio ▸ Books, one folder per book. You can see them in Files and Finder, and they count against your iCloud storage. Please only add files to the Add to Meowdio folder; Meowdio manages the Books folder itself. If iCloud Drive is off, books stay on the device.
A book I added on my Mac hasn’t shown up.
Open Meowdio on your iPhone. Home and Books show a “New in iCloud” section with the file’s state: uploading from the Mac, waiting for Wi‑Fi, or downloading. The “Auto‑download from iCloud” setting defaults to Wi‑Fi only; tap Use Cellular on the row to fetch it right away, or change the setting to Always.
Why does a book say “File missing”?
Its folder was moved, renamed or deleted in Files or Finder. Renaming a folder is fine and Meowdio follows it; if it still can’t find the files, open the book and use Locate to point at the folder, or Remove from Library.
How does the purchase work?
Meowdio is free with unlimited podcasts and up to three audiobooks. The one-time Meowdio Unlock removes the audiobook limit. There is no subscription, and it’s shared with your family through Family Sharing. Restore Purchases is in Settings. For billing issues or refunds, use Apple’s purchase support.
How do I free up space?
Long-press a book and choose Remove Download. The book stays in iCloud and downloads again when you play it. Settings ▸ Storage can offload every finished book at once and remove played podcast episodes.
